VPB Yacht Club

Vermilion Power Boats has an active yacht club which features many fun, affordable events throughout the summer. In addition, we have four or five rendezvous planned each summer to various other marinas. A typical summer event may consist of a steak fry, clam bake, cook out, pig roast or an evening with an Italian flare. You are always welcome to bring friends and family to the functions. For a rendezvous, we may cruise over to Canada or stay closer to home and spend a couple of nights at a nearby yacht club. Typically, we leave on Friday afternoon and return on Sunday at your own leisure. Friday night is "happy hour" and hors d'oeuvres. Saturday and Sunday's breakfast is provided by the existing Fleet Captain, lunches are on your own and Saturday evening is a night out at the yacht club or a local restaurant. In any event it is always fun. Don't forget the Annual Change of Watch Dinner and Dance! In the clubhouse...we have a big screen, stereo television and VCR. Games to play -- books and magazines to read. There is a full service kitchen, bar and four full bathrooms. The entire facility is air conditioned and there for your use. It can be rented for private parties. We are an I.L.Y.A. affiliated Yacht Club.
